What is the Top250?

Top 250 is the annual survey of the fastest growing companies in the Netherlands, organized by nlgroeit and Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship. A ‘Growth company’ is a high-growth firm (Eng. High-growth firm (HGF)) that grew by more than 20% in full-time employees (FTEs) annually on average over a three-year period, with a minimum of 10 FTEs at the start of the measurement period (OECD, 2016). The 2024 Top 250 are among the most innovative and fastest growing companies in the Netherlands, and were selected by weighting absolute (in number) and relative growth (in percentage) in FTEs between 2020 and 2023.
